With nearly three decades of experience in finance executive search, Cataife Finance Talent builds on the long-standing reputation of its parent company, Cataife Consulting Group. Since our founding in 1998, we’ve grown steadily by staying focused on what we do best: helping companies hire exceptional finance executives who drive strategic decision-making and business performance. Over the years, we’ve expanded our reach and deepened our specialization—opening new offices, refining our methods, and building a dedicated practice around finance leadership roles, including FP&A, accounting, controlling, and treasury. Today, Cataife Finance Talent partners with organizations across industries and stages of growth. Our approach is consultative, research-driven, and hands-on—ensuring that every search results in leaders who not only fit the role but elevate the finance function as a whole.

Meet Our Leadership
Federico Cataife
Federico is the Managing Partner of Cataife Finance Talent. He advises corporate boards, CEOs, and CFOs of public and private companies across a wide range of industries. Having worked in finance in New York before transitioning into executive search, he brings nearly two decades of experience leading C-level assignments for public corporations, private equity portfolio companies, and family-owned enterprises.
He is fluent in English, Spanish, Portuguese, and French, and holds a BA in Business and Economics from Wittenberg University.
Esther Kim
Esther is a Partner at Cataife Finance Talent, bringing over 10 years of expertise placing finance professionals across the U.S. and international markets. With a strong background in senior and executive-level recruitment, she drives search strategy and execution for the Finance function across a wide spectrum of industries and company stages—from high-growth startups to multinational corporations. Esther also oversees and mentors a high-performing team of researchers, fostering a culture of excellence and collaboration.
Fluent in English, Korean, Spanish, and Portuguese, she holds a bachelor’s degree in Marketing from USP.
